Entrance Policies
The minimum age is 18. Remember to bring valid ID, such as a passport, identity card or driver’s license. You may be asked to show it at the door.
The organization must obey local rules and regulations, which are strict. Soft and hard drugs alike are prohibited. Everyone will be searched at the door.
Deodorant and other similar products are permitted only if they are in the original, sealed container. Aerosol canisters, perfume bottles and so forth are not allowed in Ahoy.
You are allowed to take cameras inside. However, professional camera equipment and video cameras are prohibited.
Event Travel
Cheaper to events with Event Travel
Travelling with Event Travel at a cheaper rate. Because if you book a bus and entrance ticket (combiticket) now, you will save presale costs. In addition, you will not have to venture outside, because it is possible to book on www.eventtravel.nl. The luxurious touring cars leave from more than 97 pick-up locations throughout the Netherlands. Through close contact with the organization of the event, a route will be chosen to evade traffic jams and bus parking places are reserved especially for Event Travel.
Group discounts
Does your surroundings lack a pick-up location? Try to gather 15 friends and choose your own pick-up location. If you manage to gather more than 25 persons, you can even receive a discount on the bus tickets.

Lockers
There will be plenty of lockers available to rent for you to store coats, bags and other valuables. Renting a locker will cost you €6 plus a €5 security deposit that will be refunded when you return your key.
As an extra service, you can go ahead and rent a locker now online at www.lockerbox.nl. You will be issued an eTicket after you pay the rental fee and deposit online. During the event, simply exchange your eTicket for a key. Your security deposit will be refunded when you return your key.
How to get there by public transportation
Ahoy is easy to reach. From Rotterdam Central Station, take the metro or bus to the Zuidplein stop. The stop is only a five-minute walk from Ahoy.
Attention: tickets are not sold in the metro stations on weekends but you must always have a valid ticket and routine checks are carried out. Use an OV chip-card to travel.

How to get there by car
Ahoy is conveniently located near all the major roads. From the Ring Rotterdam-Zuid (A15) take the exit marked Ahoy-Zuidplein and follow the signs to Ahoy.
If you have a Tom Tom or other navigation system in your car, enter: Ahoyweg 10, Rotterdam.
From Amsterdam/The Hague
Follow the A4 to The Hague. Next, take the A13 towards Rotterdam and then the A20 towards Utrecht. From the A20 take the A16 exit towards Dordrecht/Breda. After crossing the Brienenoord Bridge take the Ring Rotterdam-Zuid towards Zierikzee (A15). There will be an exit marked Ahoy on the A15. Take this exit and follow the signs to Ahoy.
From Utrecht
Follow the A12 to Gouda, then take the A20 towards Rotterdam. From the A20 take the A16 exit towards Dordrecht/Breda. After crossing Brienenoord Bridge take the Ring Rotterdam-Zuid towards Zierikzee (A15). There will be an exit marked Ahoy on the A15. Take this exit and follow the signs to Ahoy.
From Dordrecht/Breda
Follow the A16 to Rotterdam. From the A16 take the Ring Rotterdam-Zuid towards Zierikzee (A15). There will be an exit marked Ahoy on the A15. Take this exit and follow the signs to Ahoy.
From Zeeland/Roosendaal
Take the A29 to Rotterdam. Follow the A29 to the end; there will be signs guiding you in the direction of Ahoy. After the exit follow the signs to Ahoy.

Parking
Ahoy has a huge car park and charges by arrival at the car park €11,- per car.
You can also use the Zuidplein car park located five minutes away (Zuidplein rates apply) or the various P+R lots, such as those located at the Slinge and Capelsebrug metro stations.
