Marco Bailey

'Rude Boy' Marco grew up in a small village in Belgium. Nothing much happened there really, but he did learn that one doesn't achieve much without working hard. He is a true hedonist but a workaholic as well. Marco loves to work hard and spin records as much as possible; sleeping is for later. Therefore, his colleagues know him for his no-nonsense & ass-kicking mentality.

At the age of 12, Marco wanted nothing more than to become a sportsman. Motocross and competitive cycling were his passions until injuries made it impossible to continue and Marco soon had a new obsession, music, then shortly after that DJ'ing. His burning all consuming drive can only be calmed by getting into the music. A positive result of this is seen on a daily basis in the studio, where together with his best friend Tom Hades he works on tracks and DJ sets, puzzling just as long as it takes to get it to sound right and release the right energy. Marco calls this his 'positive disorder', Positive because it gives meaning to his life. He is constantly on the road or at work in the studio and doesn't take his job lightly. He invests all of his energy to make sure he can give the best possible performance to his audiences all around the World.

Having a superstar status in Belgium, he travels the world playing the biggest events as well as the small intimate clubs. His mixture of party techno, minimal and electronic house means he is a permanent fixture at all major European festivals and clu

Mauro Picotto

Mauro Picotto is an Italian DJ who began his career in 1984, at the age of eighteen, at a club in Piedmont called Top Sound. Following his studies he devoted himself full time to his passion as a DJ and in 1988 he became a finalist in the Italian DMC. In 1989 he won the Walky Cup Competition, broadcast on TV, which enshrined him as the best Italian DJ. The same year he devoted much of his time to the production of his first album as R.A.F., and he soon became one of the leading producers at Media Records, of which he would eventually become a partner. In the meantime he began to produce himself, releasing massive tracks including Bakerloo Symphony, Iguana and Komodo to name a few, though his fame is mainly due to Lizard, a track that turned into a musical style, receiving awards and accolades from all territories, pushing Mauro to the Olympus of the Top 10 most popular DJs in the world. In 2001 he began his metamorphosis, leaving Media records and creating Bakerloo and the label Alchemy with Riccardo Ferri. His productions would vary in genres from dance to trance, the most sophisticated techno to an evolution of all that is homemade music. In 2003 Mauro Picotto created Meganite - Electronic Music Lifestyle - a successful club party linked to the best DJs of the moment. For the Meganite events he has had on his side top artists known today as Chris Liebing, Marco Carola and Adam Beyer, all playing alongside Mauro as Meganite resident DJs. Since the very beginning, the sele

Joey Daniel

Joey Daniel started listening and making music at a young age. Drums were his first passion, but growing older the love for electronic music took over. At the age of fifteen he heard Michel de Hey’s record ‘Future’ from the famous Nighttown parties and from then on Joey was hooked. It became pretty clear to him that a new goal in his life had to be fulfilled:making people dance! He has been doing so for over a few years now, spinning a fresh mix of house, minimal and techno.

Joey’s career took off in Club Off Corso in Rotterdam where he started as resident of ‘Electro Rockers’ and later added the Off Corso / Electronation ‘GlamTech’ night to his list of residencies. After a while, becoming more wise and focused,Joey was asked to be one of Rotterdam Club Now and Wow's residents and programmers. At this point things started to roll and Joey conquered his spot in the Dutch dance scene.

Besides dj-ing Joey started a new club night in September 2008 called ‘Selektor’ in Off Corso. Gregor Tresher, Paco Osuna, Paul Kalkbrenner, Johnny D, Chaim and Andomat 3000 are just a few names on the list of dj's who stood behind the desks and Selektor claimed its spot in the scene in Rotterdam as of one of Holland’s finest parties. These days Joey mainly puts his heart and soul into his other techno club night, named ‘300MPH’, which is organized in the venues Catwalk and Factory010, both located in R

A. Paul (LIVE)

A.Paul was born in Lisbon (Portugal) in 1971. His first contact with music was at the age of 6 through the influence of his older sister who was really into the funky disco sound. His musical roots are deeply connected with great musicians such as George Benson, Imagination, Al Jarreau, Quincy Jones, Earth Wind and Fire, Michael Jackson, and later with Kraftwerk, true pioneers of what we now call electronic music.
He also received some electro and hip-hop vibes from the 80´s, and by the time acid house hit Europe by the end of the decade, he was already mixing for some time, making some parties with his own equipment, and his work was recognized by the portuguese dj J. Daniel, who gave him the opportunity in 91 to start playing as a resident in a club that held the capacity for a 1000 people and also invited him to work at his record shop and with whom he also released his first vinyl record in 94, on his imprint Question of Time. This record was also licensed to the mythical Italian label UMM. This was a time of great discovery in music, made A.Paul forge and polish his own style of music and skills as well, leading him to become resident of two of the most charismatic clubs at that time, Climacz in 94 and Kremlin in 96 both in Lisbon.

In 1995, after his first international gig in Augsburg - Germany, he became the techno import manager for Illegal Records in Lisbon, and with this new step he is able to get all the latest promos of techno, and release his mus

Remy vs Warren Fellow

Warren Fellow is an International DJ with a great talent for music. He has been active as a DJ for several years now and has witnessed the dawning of the house-scene. Warren Fellow has been invited to doing gigs all over Europe in countries like Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Spain & Ibiza. What makes Warren Fellow so special as a DJ is that he has huge creative musical talent along with a “sixth sense” for communicating with his audience. Warren Fellow has the ability to make an audience go completely wild, until (so to speak) the roof comes off. As producer Warren Fellow is constantly exploring the borders of what is possible in house-music.

A unique blend of textures and waves of pure energy is what flows through your mind and body when listening to Remy. It is sheer pleasure. And for those who have not had the opportunity to hear his sound, you have certainly been missing half of your life. For a man with a calm and to some, even a shy demeanor, the power and respect he demands while he's behind the decks is total and consuming. Born in The Hague, the Netherlands, Remy was bitten by the music bug in the summer of 1990. A dark murky club, lustrous lights, that thumping base, and a strange but curiously intoxicating fusion of high, medium, and low frequencies was all it took for Remy to make a sudden change of career, and a decision he has never regretted making since. He bought his own DJ set after that summer. Eventuall
Justin Patti

Justin Pattiapon aka Justin Patti was born on the 18th of januari 1984 and grew up on the south side of Rotterdam. At the age of 6 he moved to the city of Spijkenisse. As a child Justin Patti grew up with music. Dancing and singing in the front of the mirror was his favorite thing to do.

When he reached the age of 11 he started taking drum lessons. Three years later the owner on the music school suddenly died and Justin Patti was forced to stop taking lessons. Till this day, Justin Patti, still regrets he never continued the drum lessons.

A few years later Justin Patti decided to join the Royal Dutch Navy. There he experienced the beauty of electronic music. Because of his affection for techno he started visiting the biggest parties and festivals. The love for techno was so big that, at the age of 22, he made his first financial investment. He left his parents house and started living on his own in Rotterdam. He got himself a couple of Pioneers and nice dj-mixer.

After a couple of years experimenting with his decks he decided to get into the digital world of Dj-ing. In 2008 Justin Patti got in contact with Noisy aka Noisy Lois! Noisy is a female dj/producer and she learned Justin Patti how to produce. His first EP, in coorporation with Drijfhout, Rockstar and of course Noisy, was released on Spanish minimal label ‘Estocastical Beats’ in July 2009.
Alex Under

The deepest meaning of ‘collage’, defined by Max Ernst, is the general application of Arthur Rimabauds ‘delirium’: “I accustomed myself to simple hallucination; I saw quite deliberately a mosque instead of a factory, a drummer's school conducted by angels, carriages on the highways of the sky, a salon at the bottom of a lake: monsters, mysteries, a vaudeville poster raising horrors before my eyes”.

We could describe collage as an alchemic compound of two or more heterogeneous elements, derivate by their unexpected approximation generated deliberately by the search of systematic confusion and distorted perception.

Alex Under confirmed himself as the new reality of the best international techno, sometimes being minimal and deep, sometimes hard and aggressive, but always original. He creates a sonic collage combining techno, trance and house elements while he constructs complex rhythms that arise from the dance floor taking the listeners to a higher level where emotions, depth, mind & body blend in a unique equation. Alex Under will intrigue beyond your perception.

The man behind the NET28 family -Apnea, CMYKmusik, Cyclical Tracks and Mupa, together with Tadeo, Damian Schwartz and Imek, is also 50% of ‘Musica Charlista’, a project shared with Damian Schwartz: jazz deconstruction from a techno point of view ... Pure delight for our inferior extremities.
Planetary Assault Systems (LIVE)

Born in Reading and raised in Horley, Luke’s early sound dalliances with his dad's ancient reel to reel tape machine and his drumming stints led to work in local record shops including self set up infamous Jelly Jam in Brighton. By 1988 Slater was fully immersed in the embryonic acid house scene DJing at London's seminal Troll at sound shaft Heaven.

Luke soon began releasing original tracks under various monikers and his single debut came in 1989 in the form of “Momentary Vision”. After releases on DJax as Clementine, on GPR as 7th Plain and Morganistic (with Alan Sage) and especially on Peacefrog with nearly a dozen of releases as The X-Tront and as Planetary Assault Systems, Slater's trajectory through the early to mid nineties electronic music scene was at very least staggeringly prolific and a lot of the times utterly majestic. Especially his Planetary Assault Systems alias that Slater uses for his harder edged techno output became a sound that had gone into the heads and hearts of the dance scene and as a result became a milestone in UK techno history.

After releasing 4 full length PAS albums on Peacefrog, he ascended to the majors in 1997 with the release of a modest milestone of latter-day techno album on NovaMute that resulted in 1997's Freek Funk and the album Wireless followed two years later. His first volume of the mix series Fear and Loathing appeared in 2001 on the React label. Alright on Top from 2002 was an "album of songs&q

Drijfhout

On The 3th of May 1987 Allard Drijfhout was born in Vlissingen, a city in the south of the Netherlands. when he was a young kid he was already very intressted in music, and went to the musicschool to play at his saxophone. But the moment he decided that electronical music is his thing and he wanted to start dj-ing was after visiting his first techno party, that moment was I Love Techno in 2006.
in that same year he met Justin Patti, who was already dj-ing for a while then. he teached him the first basicsteps of dj-ing on his cdj's. after a while of praticing he started to understand the dj-ing and that was also the time he decided to stick to the Techno, an addiction was Born!
After being a bedroom dj for a time he wanted to show his skills to the audience, a friend of him had a bar and he let them play there for a few times. after that he started to play more frequently and that resulted in some nice bookings.
in 2009 he starts with producing music, together with justin patti and that same years their first release came out on Estocastical beats. Because he liked the producing so much he decided to switch to the world of digital dj-ing, this way he can spice up his dj-set a little by using a lot different loops and effects.
PanPot

A pan-pot is a simple, workday knob, given to side-to-side flip-flopping and not much else. Pan-Pot, on the other hand, are a brilliant multi-dimensional Berlin duo currently twisting house and techno fans into rapturous fits. In just a few short years, Pan-Pot - comprised of Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix - have developed a dominate presence amongst the top tier of electronic dance music, with an ascension paralleling the rise of their native label, mobilee records. Most recently, they demonstrated the height of their achievements with their “Confronted” EP on mobilee, which was swiftly followed by an impressive package of remixes by Adam Beyer & Jesper Dahlbäck, Slam, Martin Landsky and Dapayk.

After booking Anja Schneider for an infamously ill-fated party in 2005, the duo established a connection with Schneider’s then recently formed imprint and within weeks had released the Popy and Caste EP on mobilee - their first release and the label’s second. Graduates of Berlin’s SAE, their initial musical efforts placed a primacy on integrating electronic experimentation with minimal stylings while simultaneously establishing the ominous, murky sounds that have since become synonymous with their name. The next few years saw the release of a steady stream of original tracks and remixes on both mobilee and Einmaleins, each demonstrating the duo’s commitment to precise, undulating and kinetic grooves accompanied by a steady expan

Dylan Drazen

Dylan Drazen is one of America's most well traveled and globally
respected techno DJs. Despite his nature to fly steadily below the
world's Superstar DJ radar over the past decade, Dylan has gained
legions of devoted fans in worldwide broadband bedrooms who purr at
the thought of him appearing in their home town.

Dylan is obsessed with finding and exposing new music. Professionally
trained as a studio sound engineer, it was inevitable he'd start to
create his own. His original productions have been showcased under
esteemed labels like François K.'s Clicktracks and Chicago's Blueline,
Montreal's Ascend and Sweden's G-Force. But most of his classic
distorted hard techno work can be found in the archive of Brooklyn's
Remains Records, run by Side Four co-pilot Tony Rohr.

Several of Drazen's tracks have been licensed for DJ mixes, including
compilations from Chris Liebing, Frankie Bones, Germany's Scranzwerk
series, WaveTec, and Portugal's Kaos house imprint. Dylan's most
recent studio credits come as mix engineer for large scale mix CD
compilations, from Ultra Records' Out.Anthems (in which he has a
featured track) to the underground New York 2 "tha" Bone double CD for
The onset of Dylan Drazen's DJ career occurred in 1993; now he's
Update vs Oliver Kucera

DJ Update is better known as DJ Dano.

DJ Dano is one of the founders of the hardcore scene, but has never lost his love for techno music. In the past he had his own record label, TPF records, which released with many records together with KC. In this period he and his best friend gave many illegal/free techno parties in Amsterdam, also called TPF. These parties lasted sometimes for more then 48 hours. Although these parties were free to the public, TPF managed to book foreign artists such as Pounding Grooves (UK) Johan Bacto (Sweden) Andreas Kramer (D) and Kay D Smith (D) getting them to the Netherlands.
Awakenings is one of the largest techno organizations in the Netherlands, perhaps the biggest. On the website of awakenings was once a Poll, where the public was asked who they would like to see and hear playing.
Under his own name Daniel Leeflang was number one in this poll. He also played once as Daniel Leeflang at Dance Valley Indoor.
One year ago a new techno organization started in the Netherlands: Switch music. This organization looks at high in the public's eye and seems to be a serious counterpart to Awakenings. Switch has began its own bookings, Switch Bookings Agency. A new organization, a new bookings agency... a new name was a logic result. I chose the name DJ Update for several reasons. Techno just keeps renewing and I want "my" audience to keep updated with my mixes, that will be refreshed regularly on the website. Also, DJ Update will go

Steve Rachmad

Steve Rachmad is a Dutch techno producer, DJ and remixer. By many, he is considered a father of Detroit techno in the Netherlands, respected in the world of electronic music for his deep, groovy sounds that tend to rest on impressive strings, melodies, funk and soul. His career has been reaching its highest peaks from 1996 up to the present time. Yet, it is somewhat less known that he has been in the music realms for over 25 years by now.

Steve’s life story starts in Amsterdam. At the age of 12, teenage Steve already starts buying his first records: to mix, remix, and cut-and-paste their parts with an open reel tape deck. In such a cut-and-paste fashion, he presented his first release in the mid-1980s. Among these early releases was also the one created for a hip-house/dance artist Tony Scott.

From that time on, Steve finds his inspiration in the 1980s dance and electro, works of former Time members (Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis), The System, Arthur Baker, to name but a few. At the age of 15, he also starts his DJing career with a disco set in a small Amsterdam club. Nevertheless, his love for music urges him to start buying equipment, which would later result in a professional studio that is, according to him, “everything he ever dreamt of having.” Today, his equipment is mainly analogue, providing him with a chance to explore the realms of warm, alive, non-static sounds. He laid the corner stone of this collection in 1985, by getting a T

DJ Bold vs Mike Drama

DJ BOLD first began Djing, back in 1992, after many late night club sessions, bugging out to the sounds of the infamous DJ HMC at the original Juice Records all night parties.
Hertz & Vibes

Hertz & Vibes is a formation of two young creative guys whose real names are Patrick Hertgers and Dirk-Jan Wessels. Both grown up in the east of the Netherlands between some cows and sheep. They both played various classical instruments in their childhood like organ, piano, guitar and even the saucepans in their mother’s kitchen.

Because they both were not interested in the farmer industry, they bought two turntables and a simple mixer in 2001. From that moment on their musical trip started and if it depends on Hertz & Vibes it never ends.

During a holiday in Turkey in 2004 they got in contact with an event organizer and played on different events in Alanya (of which The Auditorium). This was a major success and resolved in some bookings during the summer of 2005. They were booked for some events in Zagreb (Croatia) and got to play with names like Marco Carola and Derrick May. Overwhelmed by the enthusiastic reactions of the crowd, they were determined to go on with it!

In the autumn of 2005 they both moved to Rotterdam to start their study. But it also gave Hertz & Vibes lots of inspiration for the sound they are playing nowadays. The electronic music adventure just started.

Their dj-sets could not be described as one sound, it’s a solid mix of house, tech- deephouse, minimal and techno driven by groovy basslines and funky percussion rhythmes. While playing they always keep in mind what time they are playing, the atmosphere th

Cari Lekebusch

Cari Lekebusch is a Stockholm-based sound architect alongsides other Swedish Techno profiles like Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, Alexi Delano and Jesper Dahlbäck. He has borne many pseudonyms over the course of his illustrious career to date including Fred, Mr Barth, Braincell, Shape Changer, Vector, and The Mantis to name a select few. Some of his earliest musical influences include James Brown, Ralph Lundsten, Herbie Hancock, African Bambaata, Egyptian Lover, Chris "The Glove" Taylor, Kraftwerk, Mantronix as well as many of the hip-hop and electro sounds that emerged during the eighties. His parents had a vast vinyl collection as well which gave him ample opportunity to discover new sounds in his formative years. This eclectic range of inspiration continues to fuel his distinctive sound.

From a young age Cari was determined to pursue a career in music; what started out as typical record collecting in the seventies eventually progressed into a desire to become a DJ. Before long he was also demonstrating his budding skills as a producer, using whatever electronic equipment he could muster to experiment with beats. In some respects he was seemingly following in the footsteps of his father who had operated an audio & video electronics store, agency and studio, known as Studio Lekebusch. Throughout the eighties his interests outside the music realm included graffiti art, breakdancing and a passion for kung fu, something which has remained with him to this day and
